StorePull Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 August 2026
StorePull - Shopify Product Scraper ("StorePull", "the extension") is a browser extension for extracting product and collection data from public Shopify storefronts and exporting that data to CSV or Excel.
Data StorePull handles
StorePull handles website content and resources from the active tab when you deliberately open the extension and request a product or collection scrape. This can include public product titles, descriptions, variants, prices, SKUs, barcodes, images, collection information, product URLs, SEO fields, visible product specifications and related public storefront data.
StorePull also handles a Gumroad license key if you choose to activate StorePull Pro.
How data is used
Public storefront data is used only to provide the extension's user-facing scraping, preview, selection and export features.
StorePull processes scraped product data in your browser. The developer does not operate a remote server that receives or stores scraped product catalogs.
The extension stores the following locally in Chrome storage:
- the number of free top-level product exports used in that browser profile;
- Pro license activation state;
- the Gumroad license key needed for periodic license revalidation.
Gumroad license verification
When you activate StorePull Pro, and periodically while a Pro license remains active, the license key is sent directly to Gumroad's license verification API over HTTPS together with the StorePull Gumroad product identifier.
Gumroad processes that request under Gumroad's own terms and privacy practices. StorePull uses the response only to decide whether Pro access is valid. StorePull does not store the purchaser email, order number, payment card information or other Gumroad purchase metadata.
If Gumroad reports that a purchase is invalid, refunded, disputed or charged back, Pro access can be disabled.
Data sharing
StorePull does not sell scraped product data, browsing data, license data or other user data.
Scraped storefront data is not transmitted to advertising networks, data brokers or the StorePull developer.
A Gumroad license key is shared with Gumroad only when necessary to activate or revalidate the Pro feature.
Browsing activity
StorePull does not run a background browsing-history collector. It accesses the active tab only after the user invokes the extension and uses the scraping feature. The active storefront's content and URL are used only to provide the product scraping and export workflow.
Data retention and deletion
Scraped catalog data remains in the extension popup only for the current working session and is exported to files chosen by the user.
Free quota and license state are stored locally in the Chrome browser profile. Users can remove extension-local data by removing StorePull and its site data from Chrome. A Pro license can also be deactivated from the extension interface.
Security
License verification is sent only to Gumroad over HTTPS. StorePull does not remotely execute code and does not send scraped storefront content to the developer.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information handled by StorePull adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. StorePull uses user data only to provide or support the extension's disclosed single purpose.
Children
StorePull is a business/productivity tool and is not directed to children.
Changes
If StorePull's data handling practices materially change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the new practices are introduced.
